JV Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC), a key Ukrainian asset of the British JKX Oil & Gas
Group, has been actively supporting Ukraine for the third year in a row during the full-scale
invasion. Since 2022, the company has allocated UAH 220 million to help the Armed Forces
of Ukraine and implement charitable initiatives.
Support for the Defense Forces
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, PPC has been systematically helping the
Ukrainian army by allocating resources to provide the military with the necessary equipment
and machinery. In 2024, the company donated more than UAH 75 million to the Ukrainian
army, which allowed it to purchase:
∙cars for military units;
∙drones and quadcopters, including Mavic 3T and the long-range unmanned aerial
vehicle Sych;
∙winter tactical clothing sets and body armor;
∙spare parts for thermal imagers, memory drives, network equipment and much more.
Prompt assistance in crisis situations is also one of the company’s priorities. After the missile
attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital, PPC allocated UAH 2 million to restore it.
Supporting local communities
As a socially responsible business, PPC systematically helps communities in the regions
where it operates. As part of the Local Community Support Program, the company
implements a number of social projects that contribute to the development of the region and
respond to the urgent needs of the population:
∙installing mobile bomb shelters for local schools and kindergartens;
∙donation of sports equipment for the stadium of Novosanzharskyi lyceum;
∙providing a generator for the boiler room of Andriyvskyi Lyceum;
∙road repairs and other infrastructure projects.
PPC’s partnership with Andriyvskyi Lyceum has been going on for over 15 years. The
company provides the school with special equipment, fuel, equipment for the medical office,
and internet connection.
PPC also annually honors World War II veterans, provides financial support to adults and
children with special needs, organizes holiday greetings for kids, and helps restore medical
facilities.
A reliable partner for the state
Despite the shelling and damage to its production facilities, PPC has been consistently
fulfilling its financial obligations to the state. In 2022-2024, the company paid over UAH 5.4
billion in tax payments.
PPC is not stopping there and continues to support Ukraine in all possible ways. Even in the
difficult conditions of war, the company is a reliable partner for the military, the state and
local communities, demonstrating responsibility and commitment to the country.
