Poltava Petroleum Company Presents New Commercial Strategy

Kyiv, February 16, 2018 – At the Agropetrol2018 conference, representatives of Poltava Petroleum Company spoke about the new commercial strategy. Throughout this year, PPC plans to develop direct-to-consumer sales, in particular for agricultural companies, in additional to the existing sales via intermediaries and traders.

“The agricultural sector is one of the key consumers of gas and petroleum products in Ukraine. Poltava Petroleum Company is one of the leading gas producers in Ukraine, and may be of interest to the agricultural sector as a supplier of natural gas, LPG and other petroleum products. Thanks to the absence of intermediaries in our new sales model, we are able to offer a flexible approach to cooperation,” summarized Andriy Dovhaniuk, Director of commercial department at PPC.

“The new sales model provides our potential customers a transparent financial mechanism for cooperation without intermediaries. We are ready for mutually beneficial cooperation with agricultural companies, and would be glad to make our contribution to the development of Ukraine as a global agricultural leader,” added Kirill Zakhovavko, commercial advisor to CEO of Poltava Petroleum Company.

Fuel is an important element of price formation for agricultural products. Simplifying and expanding cooperation between energy and agricultural companies can be key to successful development of both sectors in the near future.
