Summary of social support for local communities in 2022

Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC) continues its Local Community Support Program aimed at
assisting and developing communities in the regions where its production facilities are located,
even during the exceptionally challenging year of 2022. The total amount of aid directed by the
company to community support this year exceeded UAH 1 million. The primary areas of support
included assistance to local institutions and organizations working with vulnerable populations,
as well as addressing the urgent needs of communities during wartime.

“2022 was a real test for each of us. Supporting local communities is a priority for us because
their well-being impacts the stability of the whole of Ukraine. This year, we have made every
effort to help communities adapt to new realities and provide the necessary support to those
who need it most,” stated Vitalii Dorohan, CEO of JV PPC.

Throughout 2022, PPC supported numerous initiatives across various regions aimed at
improving the quality of life and providing local institutions with necessary resources. Among
those were:

• Support for sports: financial assistance to the Novosanzhary Football Federation to promote
sports in the communities of the Novosanzhary United Territorial Community (UTC).
• Medical support and social initiatives: purchase of an apartment for a doctor at the family
medicine department in Nekhvoroshcha, ensuring access to high-quality medical services for
local residents.
• Assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and military personnel: payment for energy
resources to accommodate Territorial Defense and Armed Forces units in the Novosanzhary
community and creation of living conditions for refugees at the Antei Sanatorium.
• Social support: gifts for children with disabilities in the Nekhvoroshcha UTC for Children’s Day
and food packages for World War II veterans and their widows.
• Safety and infrastructure: purchase of a generator to equip a bomb shelter for the Dnipro
Basketball Club, providing additional safety during air raid alerts.
• Humanitarian aid: provision of food, hygiene products, and children’s goods for refugees in the
territory of Nekhvoroshcha and Mashivka UTCs.

PPC expresses gratitude to all partners and communities for their joint efforts in implementing
important social projects and intends to continue supporting the regions as part of its corporate
Local Community Support Program.
