PPC Contributes Over UAH 622 Million in Taxes in H1 2023

Poltava Petroleum Company (JV PPC), a leading Ukrainian asset of the British JKX Oil & Gas Group, paid over UAH 622 million in taxes and fees to the national and local budgets during the first half of 2023. A portion of these funds went directly to the budgets of communities in the Poltava region, where the company operates.

Despite the challenges posed by wartime conditions, PPC has demonstrated financial stability and has responsibly fulfilled all its current tax obligations. These payments, including gas and oil royalties, support social initiatives, Ukrainian Armed Forces units, and the development of local communities’ infrastructure.

“In these challenging times, we understand the critical role we play in supporting the country’s economic stability. Paying taxes is not just an obligation but also a contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, supporting local communities, and fostering their growth. We are proud to contribute to the nation’s future even during its most difficult periods,” said Vitalii Dorohan, CEO of JV PPC.

JV PPC continues to be a reliable partner to the state, local communities, and Ukrainian society, focusing its efforts on ensuring Ukraine’s energy and economic stability.
