Vitalii Dorohan, CEO of Poltava Petroleum Company (PPC), attended a working meeting between private gas production companies and Naftogaz Ukraine’s top management.
The discussion focused on the current challenges facing the industry, with all participants expressing their commitment to expanding production and investing in technological advancement to meet domestic energy needs. Naftogaz, in turn, confirmed its intention to continue purchasing natural gas from private Ukrainian producers next year.
Additionally, the head of Naftogaz expressed gratitude to private companies for their active role in preparing for the 2024-2025 winter heating season. Through collaboration, Naftogaz Group has purchased over 800 million cubic meters of gas from private producers on the domestic market since the beginning of the year. This volume significantly strengthens the country’s reserves, supporting stable energy supply during the winter months.
