JV PPC Supports Poltava Communities for International Day of Persons with Disabilities

JV Poltava Petroleum Company (JV PPC), as a socially responsible business, continues to actively support vulnerable groups in the region where it operates. To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the company provided financial assistance to individuals with first-degree disabilities and children with disabilities residing in the Nekhvoroshchanska community of Poltava region. Supporting people with special needs is one of many social initiatives the company implements in Poltava region as part of its Local Community Support Program.

Each year, on the World Children’s Day, the company delivers gifts to children from Nekhvoroshchanska territorial community, thus supporting those who particularly need assistance in today’s challenging conditions.

In addition to that JV PPC is actively involved in important social projects. One of them was helping to restore access to medical services in the Nekhvoroshchanska community. The company funded the purchase of housing for a doctor, enabling the community to reopen its medical facility. JV PPC also supports internally displaced persons (IDPs). In Novi Sanzhary, Poltava region, the company financed energy costs for homes where displaced persons have found temporary shelter.

Social responsibility is a key component of PPC’s activities. As part of the British JKX Oil & Gas Group, the company not only engages in extraction operations but also makes significant contributions to the development of local communities and provides assistance to those in need.
