Victor Gladun, CEO of JKX Oil & Gas and JV PPC, took part in a meeting with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky

March 5, Poltava – Victor Gladun, CEO of JKX Oil & Gas and JV PPC, took part in a meeting of business circles with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The ambassadors of the G7 countries were present at the meeting.

During a conversation with the President, Victor Gladun expressed the vision of the Company in the development of the oil and gas industry – this is the creation of conditions conducive to improving the investment climate in Ukraine and reducing fiscal and administrative pressure on business.

The CEO named such solutions to these problems:

• unify rates for all wells (new and existing wells), – 12% / 6% depending on depth, implement a stable and predictable fiscal policy in Ukraine;
• reduce administrative pressure by stopping unreasonable business checks by law enforcement agencies;
• be guided by the rule of law (equality of all before the law) – the current decisions of international arbitrations are binding on the territory of Ukraine.

Summing up, Victor Gladun noted: “Compliance with these conditions will be a signal to foreign partners and potential investors that Ukraine is a civilized legal European state with an attractive investment climate and favorable conditions for doing business. An increase in investment and business development in the country will become the key to the growth of budget revenues and the strengthening of energy independence of Ukraine”
