On May 24, a scheduled firefighting drill was held at the Rudenkivka PLF
On May 4, 2017, a joint scheduled drill on firefighting at a high fire danger facility was held at the Rudenkivka PLF.
Employees of JV PPC and State Fire and Rescue Unit # 2 (SFRU #2) of Novi Sanzhary State Emergency Service took part in the drill. Representatives of SFRU #2 were familiar with the PLF territory and process equipment and with the facility’s firefighting systems.
The drill was held at RVS-2000 (vertical steel tank) using a fire engine.
The drill was carried out in compliance with fire safety precautions for a high fire danger facility and with all health & safety rules observed.
The point of the drill is to ensure efficiency and coordination of JV PPC and SFRU #2 of Novi Sanzhary State Emergency Service’s actions when fulfilling the task to contain a fire and fully eliminate its causes.
